Associate Professor
Vebhuti Duggal has been trained in English literature and Cinema Studies. Her research engages questions at the intersection of sound (including music), media technologies, and the senses, with particular attention to listening as a cultural practice in India. She is also interested in film pedagogy and teaching practices.
She has previously co-edited Punjab Sounds: In and Beyond the Region (with Radha Kapuria, 2024) and Film Studies: An Introduction (with Bindu Menon and Spandan Bhattacharya, 2022). Before joining CSDS, she taught at Ambedkar University Delhi and at constituent colleges of the University of Delhi.
