Studies in Indian Politics: Journal Launched

Lokniti, a research programme of the CSDS, launched the journal Studies in Indian Politics on 18 July 2013. The journal was launched by Mrinal Miri, Chairman, Board of Governors, CSDS and Member of Parliament, Government of India. Studies in Indian Politics is a peer-reviewed journal which aims to provide a forum for those engaged in the study of Indian politics. It will publish research writings based on original research, book reviews as well as discussions on teaching Indian politics and issues in research methods. The journal will cover a wide variety of sub-fields, such as political ideas, political institutions and processes, Indian democracy in a comparative perspective, and India in world affairs, and public policies.
