Report ‘Democracy in India: A Citizens' Perspective’

The Report ‘Democracy in India: A Citizens' Perspective’ was released by Lokniti, CSDS on 6 August 2015 at India International Centre, New Delhi. The preliminary findings of the report was presented by Sandeep Shastri, National Convener of the Lokniti network. The discussants were Pratap Bhanu Mehta, President and Chief Executive, Centre for Policy Research and Neerja Chowdhury, Senior Journalist.

The study is a part of a global survey on attitudes, expectations, perceptions and evaluation of India's democracy conducted in India covering 6,043 respondents in 22 States. The REPORT is available for free online. (Click for details)
