V.B. Singh

V.B. Singh is Senior Honorary Fellow, Centre for the Study of Developing Societies, Delhi. His main areas of interest are electoral studies, party systems and ethnic politics. Besides having contributed numerous research articles to national and international journals, Professor Singh has published a number of books, including: Profiles of Political Elites in India; Political Fragmentation and Electoral Process: 1991 Elections in Uttar Pradesh; Elections in India: Data Handbook on Lok Sabha Elections, Between Two Worlds: A Study of Harijan Elites (co-author); Hindu Nationalists in India: The Rise of the Bharatiya Janata Party (co-author); and Democracy and Social Change in India (co-author).
