The Centre for the study of Developing Societies (CSDS) a leading social science research institute in India is about to begin its 50th year celebrations. These celebrations shall include a series of public events, talks, seminars, publications etc. For this CSDS requires a Program coordinator and a Designer.
Program Coordinator
A Program coordinator for a minimum period of one year which could be extended for another year. The coordinator shall be required to liaise with organizing committee of CSDS and maintain regular communications with invitees of all events and assist the event organizers and prepare reports. We are looking for someone with at least a Masters degree preferably in social science and humanities, who is familiar with and has deep interest in the academic world. She/he should be proficient in spoken and written English. Salary is negotiable.
Designer
A designer with the following design requirements:
- A new logo for the event
- A brochure for the institute
- A specific thematic logo
- Posters, invitation cards, envelopes, flyers and other such materials
The designer will be engaged on a contractual basis. We would need to see the sample within a period of two months after signing of the contract. First set of finalized material would be needed by August 2012. Services are required immediately. Talented designer with experience in similar areas would be preferred and the terms of the contract would be negotiable.
